Sloppy play on both sides in the first quarter more so from the Knicks, better shot percentage for San Antonio. Too much passing by the Knicks yet ball movement is pretty stagnated not really getting close to the paint and taking shots that have less chance of hitting. Could be wrong but seems to be that there’s players on the Knicks end hesitant to take a shot. Tight defense from San Antonio as you figure would be expected. Spurs end the first quarter with a lead again but just like the adage it’s not how you start but how you finish.
